That Man Leaning Against the Table
He's been at
it so long
it's hard to
tell
whether it's
him
or the table
that's doing
the leaning.
Could be he's
been standing
up straight
all these years.
Could be the
world's
at this angle
and only he's
been on to it.
He grins when
you look at him.
His mouth's
like an arm
propped up
against his jaw.
