Cascading mist
envelop
me,
cover my steps.
But look, now
I shiver in
fear.
Unknown ground
swallows my
feet.
I
pause.
Hesitant,
the ravens
approach.
Finding comfort
in uncertainty
I make my way.
I’m lost in your
shroud of white, but
I
journey on.
I see reverence
in the eyes of a raven.
I hear the echo of my heart
vibrate my soul.
Ravens sing in solitude,
preserve
my moment in the mist.
