Celestial Witness
They
watch over us, blanketing the sky in light
Flickering
as they smile and observe the adventures below.
Watching
how we grow, develop and learn
Grandparents,
mothers, fathers, siblings and children.
Transformed
from the earthbound to becoming an eternal flame.
In
our moments of need, times of sorrow and crisis,
In
our moments of joy, achievements, happiness and love.
Dying
is not the end, it is just the beginning of an everlasting, boundless
existence.
So
when we say goodbye, it isn’t forever, just for the present.
Looking
up we feel the connection.
Until
we meet again.
I
love you stars.
