How Fire Breathes
The way beyond freedom and openness
is how fire breathes.
When the beauty of the world
is more than you can dare say,
recall that Israfel played his
verse
upon the natural weave of the song’s
cloth,
traveling the curved form of a
heroes’ path,
flying upon the harmony of rain
beside a meandering lake.
Surrounded by bright ardent orbs,
like the gleam of palladium,
white heat
rolling through the inexorable
essence of time
with certainty that rationality is
at hand.
Now, valor stands tall,
seen through the clearness of the
air,
heroic deeds unshaken,
the shock of life finally broken.
Now free
to speak the dreams of music,
memories,
fears and love.
The divine fire breathes.
It’s within the sky.
