I Lost My Way (in Albuquerque) - an Alphatriplet Tale
Adjacent
bypasses
caused traffic
delays as
every car
far and near,
glad to be
heaven bound,
instantly
joined the crowd;
killing time
like one of
many—more
nopes than hopes.
Oppressed by
pavement, the
quivering
rubber of
suffering,
tortured tires—
unfêted
victims of
wanderlust.
“X marked What?”
“Your wrong turn!”
“Zip your lip.”
