I dream of you, in your hands

scarlet birds with golden crowns.

Flocks of words take to the sky

abandon me.

Where is the body in such

grief?

Autumn, chaste bedroom

lone bed a book transforms.

At my feet

cold folded, quilted

into the space winter stakes.

 Cathedral silence.

All beauty stains, thin and cool as glass.
