Wrapped in Red
Last minute shopping.
Ill-conceived gifts,
destined for dust.
Greeted by the three-dog pack –
Bark, Growl and Snarl.
Unleashed drool-glazed handshakes.
Passive aggressive small talk.
That familiar tune –
all wrapped in red.
