Glasswing
Butterfly
Opalescent wings shimmer gently in soft
morning breeze,
fragile, sheer, alight with colors of
sunshine and stars,
coruscating, she flies with quiet
strength and grace,
her reflection lustrous, ephemeral — a
kaleidoscopic,
changing prism of day and night,
ever-rising, blooming, fading
into the endless stretch of time.
