How to Live
I do not know how to live.
I am dueling life with a slingshot.
Life has the devil on its side
breathing flames, spitting lightning.
I do not know what is next.
Each day I feel my heartbeat weaken.
I go on because I would hate
to vanish without a trace, without a fight.
I have the slingshot ready to go.
My aim is true. I will not give up.
I may not know how to live, but who
does not waste a little bit of life sometimes.
