Blackbirds
must be insane—
must be.
Those yellow
acid unseeing
eyes leave no
doubt.
And taking
flight,
they swarm:
that erratic
black cloud
graphs an
unquiet mind.

these are but a few of my favorite birds. great to see them get recognition. i mean how many eagle and hawk poems can people write?
