Tangled Web
They sharpened their uniform claws,
wiped away the residue…
Together –
we worshipped the moon Goddess,
uncovered hideaways,
became a trilogy of perfection.
My unripened wings
were stretched beyond their means.
My second skin was shed,
if not all my secrets.
Everyone –
heard the story that radiated heat,
hashtagged me to trending fame.
Downloaded, downgraded, disgusted.
While clinging to the tangled web,
I trust my third eye to see… Truth
and rebel against sentimentalism,
sending me forward to a new page.
I sharpen my uniform claws,
and pray there is no residue.

there's a sexiness in the verse that is quite appealing.
