Idiot Man
He was
bald-headed wearing jeans and white t-shirt. Slogging along the snow-covered
street. Saying, “They are coming! Coming today!” Snow sticking to his bald
head. Shoes on wrong feet. People point and laugh at the idiot man slogging on
the sidewalk in front of tall buildings. “Look out for they are coming!”
Snow stops
briefly…light shines down between tall buildings. Idiot man turns to light in
alley. Citizens continue hurrying up and down the sidewalk. No one wondering
where the idiot man went, or if they are coming.
