Forgotten Days

Forgotten Days

Taken by panhandlers of hyperbole
Fear sold by the crateload
To the unwary and insecure
Revolving paranoia
In increasing doses
Led by leaders of the self-proclaimed
Like frozen embryo
Suspended in liquid nitrogen
Forecasts of Armageddon
From a test tube
Written in the planets
Revealed to those who seek
And those who refuse to allow
