Spring Cleaning
I finished cleaning the attic
But I forgot the basement
How it holds mildew and muck
And keeps you at bay
Never minding
the matters below
until they infect a wound
And bring a pain
Only known by friends
Betrayed by strangers
Calling themselves
Friends.
