Let’s Walk Around the Lake
Let’s walk around
the lake.
Ask the ducks what’s
the truth,
argue with clouds
and birds,
read the leaves on
the trees.
Let’s go jump in
the lake.
Ask the fish life’s
secrets,
backpedal and
skip stones,
makes waves, sink
paper ships.
