Meaning of Life
It means bread for the weak, famished.
The vigor lost to dying & frail,
A gone dear to a bereaved home.
A milestone on a desolate trail.
A ray, a hope in dark horizon,
A candid hand in midst of guiles.
Oasis of luck to some in gloom,
To fallen a faith of soothing smiles.
To some it’s bounty and beauty in plenty,
For others simply a meal tomorrow.
Many toil and toil incessant,
To break away from borrowed sorrows.
To some the distance from trials of pain,
To some outliving a fatal strife.
Meaning different to different folks,
This cycle of time we call life.
