on rain
I met you in a hurricane
Bertha to be exact
city's subways halted
streets flooded
& on the late train back
from Brooklyn to Riverdale
I discovered
my identity
my destiny
spoken by the Prophet Nathaniel
but I'd say today
you were just as unfit
as me
