Cobwebs
Seven
years since I spun that tale,
weaving words to patch up the past.
An obsession lingering too long,
dominating the dark recesses of my mind.
weaving words to patch up the past.
An obsession lingering too long,
dominating the dark recesses of my mind.
Tangled
up in the web of us,
lost in our labyrinthine love –
it took me years to escape,
to shed the cocoon of our symbiosis.
lost in our labyrinthine love –
it took me years to escape,
to shed the cocoon of our symbiosis.
The
black threads that connected us,
cut so indelicately –
a keyhole incision that freed us both.
cut so indelicately –
a keyhole incision that freed us both.
