The Pickles
they fill up
the
supermarkets
&
schools
&
pubs
&
universities
&
malls
&
hospitals
&
graveyards
&
9-5 jobs
i repeat 9-5 jobs
i see them
on the tram
squished together
like
sardines
their brains
consumed by
social media
like
this
comment
on that
share
this
post
that
hours and hours
of
wasted time
like their
wasted lives
they couldn’t
survive
if they
separated
from
the pack
they
need
each other
like a
human being
needs
their arsehole
they live in a jar
with
vinegar lives
otherwise
known
as
the pickles
