Infernal
Please convey a reason for
heartless, egotistical treason
as a world screams from above
the skies a cold dark shaded pallor.
Into a desolate dream or perhaps
a moment of secular hospitality.
Can you hear a breathless voice
of children you’ve failed again?
Into the darkness of spatial depths
hell's glory stands tall at the podium
rejoice, rejoice and sing your praise
of an infernal reason for your treason.
