April the Angel
A gesture, a token; a bespoken poem.
To a lovely lady named April, whom I believe to be an Angel.
A sign sent to me of pure encouragement.
A newly found friend and a poetry enthusiast.
Chocolate waved hair and maple colored skin,
sparkling green eyes and a glamorous grin.
These are the features my imagination conjures
as we spoke on the phone about my life’s choices.
Her zesty giggle and sunny disposition engulf my senses;
deepens my affections for a stranger
with a true gentile nature.
Her zesty giggle and sunny disposition engulf my senses;
deepens my affections for a stranger
with a true gentile nature.
